General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (AGB) apply to all contracts between themissingbit OÜ ("Provider"), Sepapaja tn 6, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia, and consumers or businesses ("Users") for the use of the onlinecv.rocks service. These terms apply specifically to users in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For users in other countries, please refer to our general Terms of Service.
2. Contract Formation
The contract is formed when the user creates an account on my.onlinecv.rocks and, if applicable, completes a subscription purchase through our payment provider Stripe. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.
3. Service Description
onlinecv.rocks provides an online platform for creating, managing, and sharing professional CVs and cover letters. The service includes: • CV creation with various templates • Cover letter generation • Application tracking • Public CV sharing via custom URLs • Document export (PDF, DOCX) The specific features available depend on your subscription plan.
4. Pricing and Payment
Current prices are displayed in the subscription dialog within the application. All prices include applicable VAT. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by Stripe. For yearly subscriptions, the full annual amount is charged upfront.
5. Contract Duration and Renewal
Subscriptions are available as monthly or yearly plans. • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month • Yearly subscriptions renew automatically each year Subscriptions continue until cancelled by the user.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to EU law. For detailed information about exercising this right, please see our Withdrawal Policy. By starting to use the service immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
8. User Obligations
Users agree to: • Provide accurate account information • Keep login credentials secure • Use the service only for lawful purposes • Not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content • Respect intellectual property rights Users retain ownership of all content they create using the service.
9. Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, the Provider is only liable in case of breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages. The Provider is not liable for data loss to the extent the user has failed to perform regular data backups. The above limitations do not apply to mandatory statutory liability, particularly under product liability law.
10. Data Protection

11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the application at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
For consumers: You may bring claims in the courts of your place of residence. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. For businesses: Estonian law applies, and the courts of Tallinn, Estonia have exclusive jurisdiction.
